Laura Eccleston's paintings are a reflection of her internal subconscious, personal experiences and emotions of life. Using colour, geometric shapes and mechanical forms, Laura utilises a spontaneity of being, combining perspective, water and dystopian themes to portray both physical and spiritual emotions through an intangible reality that is never defined until the last brush stroke has been made. Her art evokes a sense of order amongst chaos, our spiritual desire to let go, but wounded by the earthly world around us and our experiences, pulling us back into a position of suspension and this is reflected in her realism work, which coexists within her abstract pieces.
